Took
some time this year fly fishing for Mako Sharks.
These fish are extremely aggressive yet skittish.
This day we set our clients on three very large
sharks.

Report
We took a trip to the SF Bay Area for some striper
fishing and ended up with some quite nice linesiders.
And just like Katy Perry says, its hot and then its
cold - You just got to be at the right place at the
right time. We definitely were!! Here’s a shot of
Alan with a nice striper! This 20lber definitely not
a mako, but she sure thought she was!!

The Report!

Report
The surf fishing is well underway. Some of the spots
in North County are hit and miss, but there is
usually 1 or 2 spots in San Diego that are pushing
out fish. Surf Perch seem to be everywhere, and some
of the more out of the way beaches will get you the
bigger Corbina. The usual spots in Oceanside have a
good showing of croakers and beans...
Bay fishing has been really good. The back bay is producing numbers of bonefish and the magic pattern or live bait is of course shrimp. Both bays have been producing, however we have been focusing more on the Bigger bay...
The shark fishing is constant. Makos, blues, Makos, Blues... They are all out there. The water is warmer in sections off La Jolla and the Sharks are ACTIVE. Get out there now while you can. Better yet, give us a call and we’ll put you on the fish.
